Pest Control for Indoor Plants

Avoid infestations by carefully checking plants before you purchase.
Houseplants bring natural, living beauty to the home. However, indoor plants also attract pests. Therefore, we need to find the solution to solve this problem, or no matter the plants but also the indoor beauty will be affected. Here 4 Methods will help you,

Sprays
Sprays that eradicate indoor pests include insecticidal soap, horticultural oils, neem oil, and pyrethrins and pyrethroid insecticides. Rubbing alcohol spray destroys mealybugs.

Manual Removal
Handpick pests, spray them with a strong stream of water or wash them in a soap solution consisting of 1 quart of water and 1/2 teaspoon of dish detergent. Use yellow glue boards known as sticky traps to attract and trap flying insects. And prune off and dispose of badly infected plant sections.

Biological Control
It is possible to keep indoor pests in check by introducing their natural enemies into the home environment. The mealybug destroyer (Cryptolaemus montrouzieri), for instance, is a species of ladybug often used in greenhouses.

Disposal
If a houseplant is heavily infested, disposing of the plant before it infects the rest of your indoor garden.
